The Beach Pad interior becomes a heady shade from dark to light as you approach the sea vista with full south facing sun light breaking though every available shard. The South Coast light is known for it’s spectacular illuminating qualities making The Beach Pad an ideal location for artists, stylists, art directors, magazines, TV companies, directors, location scouts, producers and photographers, available for totally flexible hire from half day shoots to long term filming hire.

As you head towards the garden from the front door, the light immediately hits you as it bounces off the ever-changing ebb and flow of the sea. With a colour palette from charcoal grey to azure blue punctuated with spikes of frothy white horses on occasion and mirror like glass on others, your production backdrop or setting now greets you.

Inside The Beach Pad

The internal space lends itself perfectly for model, stylist and film preparation with full access to bedrooms, kitchen, utility room and large open plan dining, lounge and sunroom with full fold back glass doors opening out to a panoramic sea view of the English Channel. 2 modern feature fireplaces, one of which is removable to create an entirely blank canvas in the sunroom.

Bedroom 1 is a double room (also used for returning crew or guests eager for their Beach Pad fix each year), with optional sleeping arrangements from dormitory style bunk beds sleeping up to 4/5 to a superior double to luxurious twins, you choose based on your requirements. A large wardrobe and extensive storage completes the room.

Outside The Beach Pad

As you approach the front door through a courtyard entrance with full size iron gate you immediately sense you are by the sea as the sound of the waves greet you at the threshold and the aroma of the sea hits your senses. Stepping from the street into your own little world void of any traffic or population distraction creates an environment in which you want to drift from the home to the garden to the two-tiered deck carved out of the cliff and jutting out across a canopy of treetops in the famous Burton St Leonards Conservation Area.

The sunroom in The Beach Pad envelops you in sunshine even on a cloudy day with large fold back glass doors. Decked steps down to a slate blue shingle landscaped garden, comprising mature palm trees, coastal succulents, fig and olive trees leading to the first of 2 decks built out of the cliff and pricked with pretty little lights

Facing you is a 180° stretch of the English Channel, to the right the coastline of Bexhill, Pevensey Bay and Eastbourne wraps around the curve of the South Coast and the iconic promontory of Beachy Head, nestled amongst the south downs and famous for it’s white chalk face that welcomes yachts and sailors from all over the world.

Stairs from the top deck to the lower deck immerse you even deeper into the treetops providing greater privacy and a sense of remoteness. Full electrics, lighting and cooking facilities are catered for on the lower deck.
